I know I ain't a kid anymore. I'm weeks away from turning 62. I've had to undergo weeks of radiation therapy. Every three months, I have to get a lupron shot. Tomorrow, I plan to get a shingles shot. It's harder for me to get back up on the rare occasions I have to get down on my hands and knees. All that, I know and accept.
No, getting old in the worst way is seeing people whose work you not only enjoyed but shaped your life in different ways die.
Leonard Nimoy. Patrick Macnee. Christopher Lee. Grace Lee Whitney. And now, Yvonne Craig.
I realize that, if I'm no spring chicken, the people I've mentioned above (and, yes, there are many I haven't mentioned that should be mentioned) aren't even winter chickens. The heyday of many of them was around 50 years ago. But it's just hard to live in a world where these people have been relegated to the past by nature.
I shouldn't complain. My siblings and I are preparing for next March for my mother's 100th birthday. In my personal life, I've been lucky.
But, dammit, I'm feeling old.
And sad.
It also doesn't help when casting decisions are made such as the one that has Hugh Grant playing Mr. Waverly in the new Man from U.N.C.L.E. movie. Or hearing that Marisa Tomei is going to be Aunt May in the next Spider-Man movie. (Yeah, it was bad enough seeing Gidget in that role.)
I know, I've gotta get used to it.
But I didn't think I'd have to get used to it this damned soon.

Just tried to buy something
on Ebay, from a seller I've purchased from several times in the past. But, this time, I got this message: The seller isn't accepting bids or offers from you. I've asked if I've done something wrong and if I can fix it. I have paid on time every transaction. No response so far. Will et everyone know more when I do.
Dammit, did it again!
I recently found art of a nude woman who has grown a tail, a tadpole rf polywog tail to be exact. Her transformation continues until she is fully pollywog or tadpole. But I got distracted and lost it before I could fave it. It only had three parts to it, woman with tail, woman further transformed, and then woman fully transformed. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, could you please send me a link to where I can find it? Thanks.
Looking for women-faced chickens
At the end of the 19th to therbeginning of thee 20th century, there were postcards out which showed chickens with the faces of women. I seem to remember the faces were usually smiling. But, in spite of Google searches, I can't find anything about them online. Has anyone else ever found these If so, please send me an URL for them.
''Forbidden?''
I just tried to go to someone's site on dART and was told it's "forbidden." What's up with that?

I'm nearing a round number, weeks from it. And my body does feel it. I am a sad man who regrets many decisions made in my life, but to hell with it. We are still around and kicking, pal. And it does matter.
