Last Wednesday, Feburary 14. was moving day for me. I've still got lots to move and especially unpack. But, for those who've been wondering where I have been, all you need to know is that I'm now BACK! And now it will take a while for me to go through all messages and respond to them. I will try to get back in touch with everyone. For now, know that I am in good shape -- in a senior-living facility.
On December 20th, I was notified by the management of my trailer park that my lease was NOT being renewed and I had 90 day to vacate my trailer. I have lived there for just over 10 years. The reason is that I haven't been so good cleaning the place up. I did not tell management that this was in part due to my having a small wound on my left foot and my being told to stay off my feet as much as I could. When I was VERY little, my favorite comic book was Casper the Friendly Ghost. Then, when I was in First Grade, my older brother took me to see Tarzan's Greatest Adventure, one of the best of the old Tarzan movies ever done. In it, Tarzan was intelligent, as he was in the Edgar Rice Burroughs novels --not that I knew this at the time. But, before the movie, the theater ran a Casper cartoon. This was a surprise to me, as I didn't know that there WERE Casper cartoons. Not long after this, ABC began running Famous Studios/Harveytoons cartoons. These featured cartoons of Baby Huey, Little Audrey, Herman and Katnip (Famous' version of Tom and Jerry
